Learning Guides
When we weren't out shadowing, my class and I would practice the basic skills of health care providers. These skills and assignments were in the form of learning guides. Learning guides are very interactive and allows students to work together to perform these skills. Examples include taking blood pressure, taking temperature, and giving CPR.

My most favorite learning guide this year was CPR. In this learning guide we had the chance to practice CPR on infant and adult models. I learned a lot from this learning guide and it was very interactive and fun. We were learning CPR in the beginning of the year and I felt as if this learning guide was a great ice breaker to make new friends in our class!

Measure and Record Respirations
Measuring and recording respiration's was my least favorite learning guide. It was my least favorite because I found it to be quite difficult to record the respiration's on my partner. I remember just staring at the clock and hoping that I was getting the number of respiration's correct.
